Design & Rapid Prototype Development It all starts with the right design. Our team of engineers is expert at collaborating with your design team to ensure that your design concepts can be translated to a production quality design quickly and efficiently. Redesign Services If you have an existing design with which you are experiencing manufacturing issues, or one which you wish to apply in a new application, we can work with you by developing recommended design changes to meet your needs. By evaluating your existing design, we can often make recommendations on changes in materials, finishes, fasteners, tooling or method of manufacture that result in a more cost effective and functional design. By reapplying an existing design to a new application, you extend the life cycle of your product, increase the return on your design costs and tooling, and speed your time to market. Reverse Engineering By reverse engineering standard, “off the shelf” items, we can quickly create detailed engineering files that can be used to manufacture the specific products you need. If you do not have prints for a particular item that you need to modify, our team can reverse engineer the item, producing prints from a sample that can then be used to evaluate the feasibility of changes you may desire. |
Valuable development time is saved when customers concurrently integrate our design team into their development efforts. Our engineering department utilizes the latest in computer aided design (CAD) technology including Pro Engineer, CADKEY and AUTOCAD software, which allows us to accept IGES, DFX and G – Code files. Customers can send design files to us via our EDI capabilities and there is no limit to the size of file that can be accepted.
