Once approved for production, our production team has the right mix of metal forming processes required to strike the optimum production solution, whether low, medium or high volume. Networked and well equipped, Flexible Metal Fabrication cells are essential to quick response. Our cells are equipped with a large fleet of numerically controlled (NC) equipment that is networked in with our CAD/CAM system. This means quick set-ups and fast design change implementations. Our extensive library of standard and special tools minimizes customer investment in short-run tooling and eliminates tooling induced delays. Our NC equipment operators are extensively trained and quality focused. This all translates into fast, efficient and quality production.
Our AMADA Apelio II 357 Laser NC Turret Punch press is an optimal blend of punching and cutting technology. The Apelio II 357 features a 1500 watt laser, a 58 station tool turret and a 60 x 72 table with auto indexing. Laser cutting is ideal for prototyping and creating unusual and creative shapes in sheetmetal and the Apelio II gives you both the flexibility of a laser with the speed of a punch press. The laser is also useful for production in special materials that do not lend themselves well to punching, such as nickel shielding material or thin, soft sheet stock. NC Turret Punch Presses & NC Press Breaks Our AMADA NC Turret presses are capable of up to 700 hits per minute and feature auto indexing and auto loading features. With table sizes ranging from 40 X 40 to 50 X 70 feature, our fleet can handle a wide range of material sizes. We use AMADA nesting software which allows us to produce a range of different parts from the same sheet. This optimizes material utilization and allows us to economically produce small order quantities. Our fully programmable AMADA NC press breaks range from 80 to 180 tons feature programmable gauging. This allows for precision forming and reduces material handling time on multiple forms within the same setup. As designs stabilize and/or production volumes increase, economies of scale dictate the use of conventional progressive, blank and form dies. Our engineers will advise you as to when to consider a shift to a dedicated tool and die. Then, our skilled tool designers work with your team to create the optimal tooling solution for your need. Our hard tool manufacturing cells are equipped with high capacity punch presses rated in tonnage from 100 500 tons and bed sizes as large as 42 X 134. Electronic coil feeders and levelers and skilled operators ensure fast efficient and quality production is achieved.
