About Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant

Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant has been established since 1993.

The buildings in which they operate were constructed in 1979, and originally opened as Sol Hemma and Grumpy’s at Bremer Hof with a European-style concept. The original business consisted of a gourmet restaurant, a tavern, an inn for lodging, and the adjacent condominiums and recreational facilities were added later. In 1988, the property changed ownership and operated for about two years as Mother Tucker’s Inn. The condominiums and recreational facilities are now known as the Endless Mountain Resort, separate from the inn and restaurant.

In 1993, three local residents acquired just the inn and restaurant, and reopened it as Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant in the fall of that year. There is actually a small stone bridge on a dirt road that crosses the East Branch Tunkhannock Creek about 1/2 mile from the inn. There are hiking and ungroomed cross-country ski trails leading from the inn to this scenic spot.

Two of the owners, Kim and Elliot Ross, are actively involved in the day-to-day business of running the inn. Justin Silfee manages the restaurant and tavern, and expertly attends to the needs of guests and restaurant patrons.

Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant is open on a year round basis, except for a two-week spring break at the end of April.
