Herb Kilmer Pennsylvania Bluestone

Herb Kilmer & Sons Pennsylvania Bluestone - Landscaping

Landscaping products consist of Fieldstone, Boulders, Steppers & Wallstone, and Water-washed Stone

Fieldstone
For over a century, the farming settlers of Pennsylvania would gather the large stone from their fields, and, letting nothing go to waste, use the large rocks for fencing and division of property. Through years of weathering, the aging process has taken its toll, making these fieldstone walls even more unique. It is this aging process that accounts for the moss covered stone valued so highly until this day for beautiful and functional stone walls. Go to Fieldstone section for more info...

Boulders
Forest boulders provide a one-of-a-kind look to any landscaping job that will appeal to the contractor and homeowner alike. Found naturally throughout the fields and forests of Northeastern Pennsylvania, this product is sold by the ton and is available in a variety of sizes. Go to Boulders section for more info...

Steppers & Wallstone
Moss covered stone is a larger form of Pennsylvania Fieldstone. Sizes range from 18" up to 36" in diameter, with thicknesses from 2" to 8". Steppers have an unlimited amount of uses. Some include: landscape borders, steps, wall caps, and even patios. Go to Steppers section for more info...

Water-washed Stone
Tumbled irregular is yet another by-product of our flagging process. Using the mill ends of bluestone, this stone is then tumbled with water to produce a smooth texture with rounded edges. The same colors as our bluestone flagging are available. Tumbled irregular looks wonderful as a patio stone or even used in a retaining wall. Go to Water-washed Stone section for more info...
